Remove suckers at the bottom of fruit or ornamental trees and roses. Tear these off rather than snip as it discourages the sucker from re shooting.

Put in stakes for tall herbaceous perennials such as Delphiniums.

Trim any Buxus topiary or hedges.  Ideally do not do this in direct sunlight on hot days as this can sometimes cause browning of the leaves.

Tie in shoots of climbing or rambling roses. Check for aphids and spray with either soapy water or Roseclear depending on your chosen garden methods.

Damp down greenhouses as temperatures rise.

Keep border edges trimmed.

Keep weeding to discourage the blighters from taking hold.

Remember to water containers in dry spells.  Apply liquid feed to container grown bedding plants and fruit trees, including olives and figs.
