This family garden had a great big shed blocking the line of sight from the kitchen window, had a patio which was at the wrong height to the damp proof course and its owners wanted a more useful area outside the house for entertaining. Once the shed was removed, a section of fencing was replaced and a new Indian sandstone patio was laid..
The small retaining wall was rebuilt to incorporate wide steps which would serve as a feature to stand pots of herbs and flowers.
I like the new steps. Needs a photo of the whole patio from the same angle to get a really good comparison of the before and after. Looks like you’ve been busy Mrs Dorris! Do you want some photos of my garden to add to your portfolio?
Thanks for your input! Gratefully received. Would love a few pictures of your fab garden, I have some but would like to have a really good display to show it off.
