The garden is pulling away swiftly now, so much so that if I look carefully enough I will be able to see things growing. That said, there is not a huge amount to pick yet.

On Saturday night we had a sharp frost which did quickly move off but it was enough to bruise the delicate petals of the Ranunculus.

I have picked two of my favourite Daffodils, white rather than yellow they look pretty against the blue glass bottle.

An early tulip, the name if which I cannot remember but certainly a parrot variety. Even that got a bit burnt by the frost. The colour is good next to the terracotta Geum Mrs Bradshaw.

Be sure to have a good week and do take a look at Cathy’s blog to see all the other wonderful vases. Https://ramblinginthegarden.wordpress.com
