Cathy, I only have leftovers of Summer to share with you today. HTTPS://ramblinginthegarden.wordpress.com
A climbing rose, inherited with my garden, name unknown. Still hanging on, sending out flowers even though it is November and we saw sleet yesterday.
A pretty orange shade of pink. One stem three buds. Loving the leftovers, have a good week.
Beautiful. Is it a scented one? Looks like one I inherited with this garden and promptly killed by pruning it too hard. 😦
It has a very light fragrance are you sure yours is gone? Sometimes a good mulch and manure can work wonders. Or is a miracle needed?!
Sadly I would need a miracle Dorris, as it has been gone for many years now. I shouldn’t have listened to some well-meant advice from a neighbour who told me to cut it right down. That was the early days of my gardening career and I have become much wiser thank goodness!
Ah, we all live and learn I think
The light on this rose is gorgeous.
Thanks
Sleet…brrr, but it is November. We may dip below freezing here tonight but I have been industrious today and moved the pelargoniums, nerines and fuchsias inside. Isn’t it lovely to still have roses blooming (even if you don’t know their name)? Thank you for sharing your leftovers with us, Dorris, most generous of you
The pleasure of iavom is documented in the comments today. I couldn’t miss your anniversary issue!
Brr indeed well done getting the precious ones under cover
Leftovers they may be but those roses are very pretty! I’m sorry to hear that the cold has arrived where you are.
Thanks Kris. There is no denying it’s cold tonight but then it is November. (-1)
Simply beautiful ♥
Thank you
That’s a really pretty rose.
Thanks Christina
Such a lovely blush of colour though
Good description, blush of colour
