Wonderful flowers. xx
Aren’t they just!
Yes “exquisite”!!!
Very nice! I’m waiting for my own poppies (orange, of course) to bloom.
Anticipation, that’s half the fun of gardening
Such a lovely description, ‘faded washed silk’ and such a fabulous colour too. Makes you want to do a Viennese waltz😉.
Perhaps if only I knew how!
Patty’s Plum is a beauty. I wish she would die a bit more elegantly though.
I know what you mean Chloris. The seed pods aren’t even as good as the annuals
She is indeed lovely but sadly has never done well for me.
I am surprised Cathy as most things thrive for you. Any idea why?
How are open day plans going?
Not sure why, Dorris. I have grown some other poppies from seed this year and It will be interesting to see how they do – P orientale and P Princess Victoria Louise. All under control for opening, I think, just getting on with what has to be done!
Wonderful pictures, you capture this flower perfectly and describe it to a tea! Mine isn’t quite out yet.. I might run out and check now , just to be sure!? Happy gardening ☺️
It’s a beauty! ❤️
