Yes! We had a glorious sunset here too. Sadly i only had my phone with me and it didn’t capture the wonder of it al all – so glad you caught it!

How beautiful, Dorris – we face east so don’t get to see the sunsets unless we are out somewhere. However, for reasons not involving painting the town red I went out at 2.15am on Sat and the sky was astounding! So deeply black and absolutely chocabloc with glitering stars – hurrah fotr those local authorities with an overnight lights off policy!
Sounds most intriguing Cathy. ‘Lights off’ it is so good when councils time them to turn off.
I thin ours must be off from 12.30 to 5.30 at this time of year, but the adjacent town is n a different county with no such policy and the difference is so marked – the sky is so much bigger when the lights are out!
