Are you there?
I am and it’s glorious
Oh my goodness!!! How fabulously exciting! So excited for you! 😀
Thanks Sandra, a dream come true
How wonderful, I always wanted to go to Japan and specially at cherry blossom time. Looking forward to lots more pictures.
A dream come true. It is delightfully pretty and so crowded as the Japanese celebrate its arrival. There may be one or two pictures 😉🌸
How wonderful! And the blossom must be early this year… So glad you could see it Dorris! I saw two seasons while working there and the whole experience was very special. 🙂 Enjoy the rest of your trip. Hope to hear more about it!
Thank you Cathy. I am loving this place, so different and interesting . I have to ask, where were you living and I guess you speak Japanese ?
It was 25 years ago, so the Japanese I learnt has sadly been forgotten! It was fun learning it though, and teaching small children helped me a lot too. I was teaching English to all ages on the outskirts of Tokyo (Chiba prefecture) and did quite a bit of travelling while there.
Well done you – what a wonderful adventure.
Wow! You lived and worked in Japan! Right – now I have to admit I’m jealous!!!! 🙂
😉 It was 25 years ago – I was young and footloose and in those days the teaching wages were really good so I got to pay off all my student debts as well as do some travelling. 🙂
I was in Rome yesterday where they were promoting the cherry blossom on trees given by the Japanese government after the war, all a but disappointing as many of the trees were dead or dying. The real thing looks wonderful
Tragic that the trees are dying.Certainly the real thing is so pretty
