polygonatum hirtum, Solomon's Seal

I am joining in Cathy’s meme today with my vase. Do take a look at ramblinginthegarden.wordpress.com to see other vases.

It may be pouring but I have a little bit of the outside with me inside, thanks to these stems of Solomon’s seal. One of my favourite Spring time flowers for its fresh green leaves which unfurl to reveal green tipped white flowers. Each stem arches over to at least a meter in length and creates a great centre piece to my table.
The weather may stop any opportunity for work in the garden today. No matter, enjoy the day!
