52 Week Photo Challenge, Christmas, euonymous, gold spray, moss covered ring, pine cones with gold, rosemary sprigs, wreath
Moss ring becomes thiswhen covered in conifer. Then to create a decorative wreath the variegated euonymus is added
Then gold sprayed pine cones and sprigs of rosemary, this is my creation. A Christmas wreath. Awaiting its bow.

That’s lovely – I envy your creativity Dorris! 🙂
Simple and elegant. xx
Well thank you 😊
Beautiful. With a circular wreath symbolising creation too. Double bubble.
Thanks Sandra. I didn’t know about the symbolism, that’s interesting.
That’s a very fine wreath, the variegated euonymus really sets it off. The rosemary must give it a nice scent too.
Thank you Kate. It certainly smelt nice while I made it. Have you made one?
I’m afraid not, so I’m fully of envy!
This looks so effective and it’s a shame more people don’t realise how simple they are to make – perhaps your clear photos will encourage them? Thanks for shsring your creativity
Simple and just a bit fiddly. I think a lot of people shy away from trying as they think they must be difficult. Have you made one Cathy?
Yes, mine is holly and ivy as we have plenty of both – based just on a circle of wire (possibly a bent metal coat hanger) with the holly and ivy flowers tied on with thin wire and the ivy wrapped round. And yes, a bit fiddly (and prickly) but never takes as long as I think it will. Looks good and easily lasts till Twelth Night

Both beautiful! I love a hands-on project like this. There is such satisfaction in making something yourself, isn’t there?
There is indeed. It can be a faff to get started, it takes time which would otherwise be spent on other jobs but once you get going it is very satisfactory and often fun, what’s not to love?!
I love it, I so much prefer wreaths that are lovely evergreens rather than full of tinsel
Thank you Christina, I am a less is more kind of gal but I know some think Christmas should be tinsel tastic
Lovely wreath!
Thanks 😊
